Unbonded strand is mainly used for pre-stressed steel structures, a variety of rail and road bridges, high rise buildings, pre-stressed construction and a variety of building foundation columns, shell safety of nuclear power stations,etc.

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) PC Strand are commonly used for construction of Stay Cable for bridges.

Unbonded PC Strands usually coated with corrosion – resistant lubricating grease and polyethylene sheathing (HDPE)
