As leaders of the corporate world, we are committed to fulfilling our social responsibilities towards our employees, the community and the rest of the world. We don’t see CSR as a responsibility; we do it with passion and thorough involvement. Our Social Responsibility program is chaired by our CEO himself and coordinated through a CSR Executive Steering Committee.
We encourage all our employees to be involved in community services and voluntary work to help the needy. The foundation of our commitment is built on the caring nature of our organization and all its employees. This can be seen by way of the projects we have undertaken and the good causes we have generously supported.

Our annual charity event in India. WWP Ponggal Carnival 2017 was attended by 996 school children from impoverished villages. It's a full day event that starts off with running competitions, followed by dance performances and songs. The children are then treated to a sumptuous lunch. After lunch, they each receive new school uniforms, school bags, school shoes and stationeries.
The children look forward to this yearly event and teachers has said that attendance have improved remarkably ever since this programme was launched. The children used to walk miles barefooted and in old, dirty, torn uniforms but all that has changed. They now proudly walk with their new shoes. The older children in upper secondary schools were also given motivational books to reiterate the importance of education as their only means to escape poverty.
For us, we hope that the children will stay in school for as long as possible and get a decent education for a better future. Our aim is to reach out to as many villages as possible and to touch as many young lives as we possibly can.
